Classroom Updates and Announcements:

  • Book Exchange: Our class will be doing a book exchange for our Christmas party. Each student should bring a wrapped book valuing $5.00-$7.00. Boys will be buying a book for another boy and girls will buy a book for another girl. Each student will receive a new book to keep. Please have your child bring in their book by Monday, December 20th. 
  • Christmas Fun Read Activities: We will be doing special reading activities on the day leading up to Christmas break. On Monday, December 20th we will be having time for flashlight reading. Please have your student bring in a flashlight on Monday for our fun read. On Tuesday, December 21st we will be having students read their favorite holiday book. Please have your student bring in their favorite holiday book to read with their classmates on Tuesday.
  • Memory Work: There will be no memory work the Tuesday following Christmas break. We will continue memory work on Friday, January 7th.

Early Dismissal: December 22nd will be a half day. Students will be dismissed at 11:40am, no lunch will be provided.
