“If I were a butterfly, I’d thank you Lord for giving me wings….” Some of you might remember that classic kids church praise song. We’ll think of what God gave us, other than wings, :-)that helps us to move each day. We’ll play a has wings/ does not have wings sorting-type game.  We have a special project to make as a thank you for Providence place , and something to help us be ready for “day with moms/grandma/aunt” The easel was a hit, so we will allow time for exploring there as well this week. 🙂 

Jesus time: 2K will hear about how God send the Holy Spirit as a dove and then as tongues of fire. Jesus promised the disciples he would always be with them. Sending the Holy spirit to lead and help us is His way to keep that promise.  We do not’ have fire or a bird in our heart, but we do have the Holy Spirit . Kids often say “Jesus in our heart” and they sure are right. He helps us make good choices and be a kind at home or school during the day, even when its hard. 

Large motor: more jumping, and balancing with turns- making another obstacle course- maybe even outside if the grass is dry- otherwise playground time for sure.

Sunday, May 10- 2 pre-K sings with 3 and 4 pre-k in church at the 10:30a.m.  service. Our song is called” L-O-V-E love that’s why”
