This week we will have fun learning about Fun Farm Life! We will explore the different animals on the farm and talk about how they help us. We will be going on our field trip to Roden Barnyard Adventures on Monday and Tuesday. Please dress appropriately as we will be outside all of the class time. It is best to wear long pants and OLD shoes or boots. We will learn about cows, what they eat and how they give us milk. We will also use some milk to make ice cream and cream to make butter in our classroom. Our letter of the week will be letter “I” for Ice Cream! If time permits, we will practice some counting and one to one correspondence by putting spots on cows. Our Bible Lesson will be The Good Samaritan Helps a Hurt Man from Luke 10:25-37. We will talk about hoe Jesus taught people to serve others in love and how we should want to help others.
Please note that the Monday/Wednesday/Friday AM Class does not meet on Friday due to early release. The PM Class can attend 8:15-10:45am. In addition, there are no classes on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.
