Welcome Back! Happy New Year! I pray that your Christmas & New Year celebrations were filled with joy! This week we will have fun with an alphabet theme. We will be working on recognizing and writing the letters in our name and reviewing the letters that we have covered so far this year. Through the story and song “Chicka Chicka Book Boom” by Eric Carle, we will practice letter recognition and letter sounds and do activities that go along with the story. We will sing silly songs about the alphabet too! Our Bible lesson will be God Takes Care of Baby Moses from Exodus 1:1-2:10. We will learn about how God watches over us and takes care of us!
St. Paul will be hosting a Preschool/Kindergarten Information Night on January 12th. We will be sharing the unique program that St. Paul has to offer and teachers will be available for you to talk to answer any questions that you may have regarding curriculum or classes. A note was sent home last week. Childcare will be available during the presentation, please call the school office to sign your child up. Invite neighbors and friends to learn about our program!
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held January 17-21. A sign up will be coming out soon through email. I look forward to meeting with you for 15 minutes to talk about your child’s progress and set goals for the second semester. I will post the schedule outside the classroom door.
