For the next 2 weeks 2K will be stomping and roaring with excitement for dinosaurs. The train table will turn into a dinosaur landscape with places for our little dinosaurs to hide, climb, and pretend in.  We will meet some dinosaur puppets that will entertain us at circle time and help us practice basic concepts . They will also act out some scenarios with friends to help us with social/emotional learning.  The dinosaurs will get to play in the sensory bin of  sand and more sensory fun includes texture painting with sand paint on a dinosaur cut out and a group dinosaur painting  2K will read many of the “how do dinosaurs…” book series, “The littlest dinosaur’s big adventure” , and a story called “Dinosaurs don’t dinosaurs do” about good manners.  Dinosaur theme color and counting games help reinforce basic skills. We have some fun dinosaur poems and songs to share this week 

Jesus time:  David and Johnathan- a story of great friendship.  Dinosaurs are very big. 2K will discuss :What other big things did God make? What are some very small things God made too?

Gym time: Moving around like the dinosaur character in one of our books, following dinosaur tracks, and soft frisbee throwing
