From the Desk of Mrs. Schumann April 1-April 8

Dear 8th Grade Parents and Students,

Thank you for the very normal April Fools’ Day.  I guess no one wanted to even try anything.  I was a tad disappointed.

On Monday the eighth grade will be starting their fourth quarter class, gym.  They should enjoy the last quarter!  Let’s hope they remember to wear the proper gym attire.

World of Discovery Fine Arts Fair: Eighth graders should check in their World of Discovery Fine Art Fair project on Friday April 8, in the Family Life Center. There are two times set aside for this.  The times are from 3:15pm-4:00pm, or 6:00pm – 6:45pm.Students must check in their project and not leave it in their homeroom. Those students doing live performances should come to the Family Life Center on Saturday, April 9.  This event starts at 3:30 pm.  Out of respect to all of those performing, all participants and their guests are required to stay until all performances are finished.

Final Mandatory Washington DC Meeting: April 13 at 6:00 in my room.  One parent from each family should plan on attending to pick up the important information.  If you cannot make this mandatory meeting, please contact me to set up another time that we can meet.  No eighth graders please.  We will have our class meeting with Mr. Yurk prior to leaving for DC.  Thank you.

Graduation Video: Pictures for the eighth grade graduation video are due April 20.  Please email the pictures to Lori.  If you need more clarification, please search for the email I sent out.  If you cannot find it, email me.
