Dear Families, 

This past week was very chilly.  For the most part, the students have done a great job with bringing outside clothing to keep them warm.  Boots are key for our cold and snowy days. Keep it up!! 🙂

This Past Week:

This week dove into the story of the Wise Men and made some new discoveries about their journey.  We also compared 12 year old Jesus in the temple to Jesus as a man just beginning his ministry.  Fractions continues to be our focus in math.  For Reading, The Jr. Detectives are working on getting their true detective status with all of the cases they are solving.   In Science, we wrapped up the key concepts and began the pinball machine construction process.  

Next week:

Christian Character Formation Project will learn how Jesus heals, prays, and preaches.   Our virtue is RESPONSIBILITY: God’s power for you to be accountable to God
and to others. We will pose this question: How can you honor God through the responsibilities He gives you?

A peek ahead takes us back to the Old Testament.  In math we will . The little detectives continue  Mysteries! In Science we will wrap up our unit, Force and Motion.
