5th Grade Families,
It is hard to believe, but we have finished our 2nd trimester! Report cards will be printed and sent home early this next week. This also means that students have one last “fresh start” and an opportunity to meet their goals for fifth grade and show how much they have grown since August. (Parent Tip: Once report cards are printed and the grades are accepted, it is a good time to clean out your “graded work” file or box at home.) Spring is upon us! As the weather gets warmer, it often becomes increasingly challenging for fifth graders to focus on learning. God’s gift to us is the ability to learn and grow through life experiences, our gift back to God is to use those gifts to the best of our ability and make the most of those opportunities by making good choices. Please keep encouraging your fifth grader to continue to do their best work each day with ♥ ALL HEART ♥ and finish this year STRONG! Continue to closely monitor family access and be sure your child is maintaining an after school homework time routine.
If your child receives an incomplete (usually due to absences), it is important for him/her to touch base with each teacher as soon as possible and complete all of the necessary work to wrap up the trimester. A report card will be printed once grades are complete
