INFORMATION/UPDATES:

World of Discovery Fair:  World of Discovery Fine Art Fair PROJECT DROPOFF will be held on Friday April 8, in the Family Life Center anytime between 3:15pm-4:00pm OR 6:00pm – 6:45pm.  Students MUST check in their project during these times and may NOT leave projects in their homeroom. 

Those students doing live performances should come to the Family Life Center on Saturday, April 9.  This event starts at 3:30 pm.  Out of respect to all of those performing, all participants and their guests are required to stay until all performances are finished. 

Students should be finishing work on their WODF Projects.  Students have only ONE MORE WEEK to complete this project and should have put a significant amount of time and effort into this project throughout that time period. Students will be graded by a panel of judges and awards will be given in each category.  We can’t wait to see our students’ show off their artistic talents & gifts!

Grades 3-5 MUSICAL: “Livin’ Inside Out” is our Gr. 3-5 musical!!!  My goal is to get every kid in Gr. 3-5 to have either an individual spoken line or sing a solo/small group. 

Madison Field Trip Chaperones:  The fifth grade field trip to Madison is on Thursday, May 26. Please fill out the chaperone form sent to your email on Wednesday with your intentions BY April 8. 

5th Grade Chapel Service:  The fifth graders will be leading school chapel on Wednesday, April 27.  You are invited to attend in the church balcony OR  watch the live stream online from 8:25am until about 9:10am on that day.

NJHS:  If your child is interested in applying for the National Junior Honor Society for his/her 6th grade year, it is time to start documenting your child’s service hours. Here is a link to the form.

Items Needed:    Our 5th graders are each going to need one shoebox later this spring. I am giving you a heads up now…. If someone buys a new pair of shoes in the coming months, please send a box or two with your 5th grader. The kids can drop them in Mrs. Zvara’s classroom anytime in the morning.
