Hello Families,

  Enjoy your Thanksgiving Break! Our PreK students have been putting together a thankful tree sharing all the things they are thankful for, it is refreshing to hear a child’s view on thankfulness.  We spent the week talking about different stories in the Bible where people showed their thankfulness to God.

  Next week Monday-Tuesday are special sign up days, so only the students signed up will be here, we will see everyone else back in December!

  For the month of December, our Lutheran Junior Honor Association students will be hosting a sock collection for Bob’s Under the Bridge, an organization that specifically reaches out to those who are enduring through homelessness. The collection will be held from Wednesday, December 3rd, through Wednesday, December 17th. Our goal is to donate 850 pairs of brand-new socks! 

  If students are not outside afterschool, the big kids (1st and older) will be in the upstairs classroom until 4:20 pm.  Please enter by the main office and go into the FLC area for pickup.  At 4:20 they will move down into the Extended Care classroom in the south wing.  Hopefully this will help eliminate confusion as to where students are as we enter the winter months.
