This will be a fun-filled week as we celebrate Christmas – Jesus’ Birthday! We will complete our special handmade gifts and will be bringing them home on Monday and Tuesday. We will practice our small motor skills by cutting paper “hay” and gluing it in Jesus’ manger.
Each class will be having a Christmas party on Thursday, December 18th or Friday, December 19th. We will play some Christmas games and have a special snack. A room parent sent out a sign up to bring items for our parties. We will have our classroom party and exchange gifts through a little “pass the present” game. Please have your child bring a $5 wrapped gift for the exchange. Please write on the gift if it is for a boy, a girl or if it would be appropriate for either a boy or a girl. Also, include who the gift is from so that we can have our kids say “thank you” to the friend that it is from.
Please add to your calendar Thursday, January 8th. We will be having a Preschool/Kindergarten Open House Night from 6:00-7:00pm. It is a great opportunity for you to learn more about St. Paul and our wonderful program! Please invite your neighbors and friends!
This will be the last week that the Lutheran Junior Honor Association will sponsor the Stuff the Stocking servant event. Your child is invited to bring in pairs of new socks to be donated to those living in difficult circumstances. We encourage the more practical socks for men, women, and children. We hope that together we can make a difference in the lives of people we may never meet through this Stuff the Stocking event, and we thank you in advance!!
