December 13-17

Our theme this week is “Getting Ready for Christmas” and we will be focusing on the letter “Oo” for “ornament.” We will be completing our Christmas gift’s this week and continuing to learn the true story of Christmas. We have a few nativity sets that the kids are able to play with and act out the Christmas story. Our Bible story for the week is “The Wisemen Come to Jesus.”

Please note that Friday’s class will only be from 8:30-9:15 as we will be practicing our Christmas program in the church. Our class’s Christmas program will be Saturday, December 18 at 9:00am. Please bring your child to our classroom at 8:45am.

We will be having a Christmas Party on Wednesday, Dec. 22. Each child is asked to bring a $5 gift for our gift exchange. Please label the gift if it is for a girl/boy or either and have your child’s name on it so that the kids can give a proper thank you after they open their gift. Our room parent will be sending out a sign up genius to sign up for items for our party. Thank you for your help in making this a special celebration for Jesus and our kids!

Dec. 18: Christmas Service @ 9:00am

Dec. 22: Christmas Party (Bring a $5 gift for gift exchange)
