Probably not going to be the best weekly update ever, but I’ll give it my best shot.

COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS!  I talked about this at Back-to-School night, but 6th-8th graders have community service hour requirements due May 1st.  This involves 5 hours of anything done voluntarily out in the community.  Mr. Yurk runs this.  There is a very simple sheet in the “Resources” section of the webpage for a community service form.  Just want to make sure you can get a head start on this if you want to!

We have less than 4 weeks left in the 2nd trimester.  Please make sure you take a look at the work that comes home in the brown envelope and check grades on FastDirect.  We are starting to get down to crunch time!
