• Patterns of Power:  Our next unit is moody.  (sorry about the lame teacher joke there … I can’t help myself)  The conditional mood is a useful writing technique for exploring possible outcomes.  If writers effectively use this mood, they establish a cause-and-effect relationship within their work. 
• Writing: We began a mini-unit on God’s Truth in Motion.
