We’ll continue our study of parts of speech, verb tenses and forms, and compound sentences, understanding how and when to use them in order to create fluency and an impact in our writing.  We’re working on an opinion article, building first with making a claim, addressing the counterclaim, and supporting it with not only facts but also interesting supporting details.  This will lead into a research project.
