We’ll continue working with creating fluency through compound and complex sentences as well as deepening the impact of our writing through word choice and voice.

 

We continue to work on our argumentative research project.  Research & Writing Requirements for the Project are as follows:

  1. Clear argumentative topic
  2. Sufficient Research (25 – 30 notecardsDUE WEDNESDAY, MARCH 2nd)
  3. Documented reliable sources: on notecards, on a Works Cited page
  4. Organized, formal outline (DUE MONDAY, MARCH 7TH)
  5. Clear thesis statement
  6. Developed Working Draft (DUE MONDAY, MARCH 14TH)
  7. Amazing Final Draft (3 – 4 pages, correct formatting, self-editing annotations)
  8. Presentation

Projected Due Date for Final Draft:  TUESDAY, March 15th (due dates need to be flexible as they are adjusted according to the needs of the class)
