All we do is grow our relationship with Jesus.

In our next few weeks’ classes, we’ll continue with our introduction to and study of the Apostles’ Creed.  We began the Second Article, looking at the person of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

Reflection Journal due Tuesday, April 5th

  • What does it mean when we confess Jesus is Lord? How is Jesus Lord in YOUR life? What difference does it make in how you live your life? If Jesus ISN’T Lord in your life, why not? What would it take to make Him Lord in your life?

Memory on Friday, April 8th:

  • 2nd Article of the Apostles Creed & Meaning (Part 3) – And [I believe] in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead. What does this mean? that I may be His own and live under Him in His kingdom and serve Him in everlasting righteousness, innocence, and blessedness, just as He is risen from the dead, lives and reigns to all eternity. This is most certainly true.

The sermon note form is also available on the link below and as a Material on Google Classroom. Students will have the ability to view and print the form from either the website here or Google Classroom. If worshiping at St. Paul, the forms are also printed and available on the back wall in the Narthex, near the coat racks.
