Please remember to check in your World of Discovery Fine Art Fair project on Friday April 8, in the Family Life Center.
There are two times set aside for this. The times are from 3:15pm-4:00pm, or 6:00pm – 6:45pm.
Students must check in their project and not leave it in their homeroom.
Those students doing live performances should come to the Family Life Center on Saturday, April 9. This event starts at 3:30 pm. Out of respect to all of those performing, all participants and their guests are required to stay until all performances are finished.
Madison Field Trip
The 6th grade field trip to Madison is on Thursday, May 26. Teachers will share details in the coming weeks. We will leave school at 8:00 A.M. and return at approximately 6:00 P.M. Our first stop will be to visit the Henry Vilas Zoo and eat an early lunch. After lunch, we will go to the Wisconsin Historical Museum, tour the Wisconsin Veterans’ Museum and then finish our day with a tour the Capitol.
As we plan for this field trip, we will need to know the exact count of people so the bus charge can be set. One parent for each child is invited to go on the field trip. If you attend, we do expect that you take a chaperone role and assist with student behavior & check ins. If you cannot attend, it is perfectly fine. There will be plenty of supervision. We are asking you to make your reservation, if you plan to go. The field trip fee should be around $20 per person cost, including chaperones. If there are extra seats available after the reservation forms are returned, I will let you know. After we get the exact number of people going on the trip, the bus fee can be set and more details will come.
Please fill out this form with your intentions BY April 8. You can find a link to the form in the weekly email. Thank you for your help!!
