We will finish our class novel Becoming Naomi Leon this week. The unit project, (an I-Poem) will be assigned on Monday and a work day will be given on Tuesday. Project directions will be given to 5th grade and posted to Google Classroom. I-Poems will be due and shared on Friday.

We are preparing for our next book club unit. The genre requirement is realistic fiction. Please help your child find a book that meets this requirement, is age-appropriate, and at their reading level. If you need help finding a book, please let me know. We also have a wonderful school library filled with books that your child can choose from. Books must be brought to class on Tuesday February 22nd. This will be a 5 point grade.
