Our theme for this week is “Dinosaurs.” Letter “D” will be introduced in our alphabet journals. We will start our unit by becoming paleontologists and dig for dinosaur bones. The children will also be making a dinosaur egg. It will take a while to dry but when it is complete, they will bring it home so your child can become a paleontologist and crack it open. This week we will begin to make our 100th day necklaces. Our 100th day will come at the end of January.
Our Bible lesson will be “Jesus is Baptized.” Jesus was baptized as part of his work to save us from our sins. We thank and praise Jesus for doing everything necessary to save us from our sins.
I will not be in school on Monday. I will be joining my three sisters on a long weekend trip. Mrs. Schumacher, our 2 Pre K teacher, will be my substitute. I will return on Tuesday.
