The theme for the week is “Dr. Seuss on the Loose.” This is a fun unit where we will explore the fun, rhyming world of Dr. Seuss. We will be introduced to the letter “B” for books. Monday, the children will actually taste green eggs and ham after reading the book. Another book that we will read is “1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish” and then sort some colored fish. There will be a big emphasis on rhyming words. We will start a Show and Tell bag this week. Just follow the directions that are inside of the bag. We will begin by looking for rhyming words. We look forward to seeing what comes as each child has their turn. The Star of the Week may still bring something special to show us.
Our Bible lesson will be “Jesus Calms the Storm.” Jesus uses his almighty power to help us during
times of trouble. We pray to Jesus during times of trouble.

This Friday is a half day. The PM Class will come in the AM from 8:15-10:45 am. The AM Class is off. Friday is also Interest Day. We will have mini sessions to attend. These will include a music class, a gymnastics session and a puppet presentation. The fee for Interest Day is $3.00/child. You do not need to send any money. Your TADS account will be charged this amount. If you have any questions, let me know.
