I hope that all of you had a very blessed Christmas and you will have a happy and healthy 2022.

The theme this week is “Alphabet Fun.” We will read the books “Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom”, “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed the ABC’s” and “The Letters Are Lost.” Please consider working with your child, especially if they don’t know the letters in their name and the ones we have learned so far this year. We will review the ones we have covered already which are: Aa, Ff, Ii, Ll, Oo, Qq, Rr, Ss, Uu, and Yy.  The more letters and sounds they know, the better prepared they will be for Kindergarten.  Some children have mastered their letter names but could work on sounds that they make.  There will be many songs and activities that include the whole alphabet and will reinforce letter concepts. We also will make a snowman that will have the letters in their name. When the children can tell us all of their letters, they will bring their snowman home. We will learn the letters with their first letter being a capital letter and the remaining letters will be lowercase. Hopefully you will all see a snowman next week.

Our Bible lesson will be God Keeps Jesus Safe From Herod.  We show our love for Jesus by worshiping him and giving him gifts. 

Please put January 12th on your calendar. There will be an informational meeting for you to answer any questions you may have about Kindergarten or preschool.  Sign up will begin on January 15th.
