The theme for the week is “Nuts About Numbers.” We will fill the week with number activities. This Wednesday we will go on a number safari with some older children from our school.  Each child will receive a paper lens and a book. The partners will search for numbers 1-10. These activities always prove to be rewarding for both buddies. Two of the fun books during our week include Chicka, Chicka, 1-2-3 and Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons. We will also practice our numbers through some games. Letter “C” will be introduced in our letter journals for “counting.”

“Jesus Feeds the 5,000” and  “Jesus Walks on the Water” are our two Bible lessons this week.  Jesus gives us all we need. Jesus wants us to call upon him for help during times of trouble.  We pray to Jesus about our needs and trust that he will help.

We have gotten some Easter donations already THANKS!  If you want to send something for our hunt, please do so by April 12th. The AM Class needs 16 of one item and the PM Class needs 9 of one item. Thanks for your help!

Please also remember to bring in an empty plastic milk jug that is clean and dry by Friday, April 8th. We will use these to make a “bunny bucket” for our Easter Hunt. Thanks!
