4 Pre K March 14-18 “Soup’s On” Mrs. Brueggemann

The theme for the week is “Soup’s On.” We will be introduced to the letter “V” for vegetables. Everyone who was at school this last week was given a paper with an item circled to help us make soup. Please return your item by Monday. If your child was not here, do not be concerned. We will have enough items for all to participate. We will read the book and then combine our items to make “Stone Soup.” Yes, we will put a real stone in it! The remainder of the week will include vegetable activities such as tasting and painting with them.

Our Bible lesson “Jesus Teaches Us About Loving Others.” God loves all people.  We ask God to help us love all people and be kind  to them. Our second lesson is “Jesus Teaches Us Not to Worry.” Our heavenly Father knows what we need and takes care of us.  We ask God to help us trust in him to take care of us.

Our PM Class looks forward to having a new classmate start on Monday.  WELCOME Gavin Dusso!

Family Day is coming up this Friday March 18th. We will begin the day’s activities at 8:30 in our classroom. We will have a rotation of activities and then go to chapel at the end of our day. We will not be attending chapel with the rest of the school. The day is planned so that the kids can participate in activities throughout the morning with their adult guest(s) in the library, gym and Family Life Center. The day will end at the normal class time of 10:45 am.

The preschool and kindergarten pajama party has been postponed and rescheduled for April 22nd. The theme will be “Bluey”. Watch for more details coming in April.
