This week, we will explore the world of colors God created. We will practice the letter “Y” for yellow in our letter journals. We will read the story “Pete the Cat :I Love My White Shoes” and learn about cause and effect—because Pete stepped in strawberries, his shoes turned red. We will also have fun mixing colors to make new colors! On Tuesday and Wednesday, we will celebrate our favorite colors. The children are encouraged to wear their favorite color to school. We will have fun seeing which color is a class favorite. Our Bible Lesson will be God Made Man and Woman from Genesis 1 & 2. We will talk about how God made us all very special and that God wonderfully makes us.

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, Sept. 23rd! The Early Childhood and Kindergarten Classes are hosting a “Popsicles and Play” event from 5:30 to 6:30. Come to our lower parking lot to enjoy a popsicle and enjoy meeting other families in our Early Childhood Program! You can sign up through this link: Popsicles & Play Sign Up

The St. Paul Benefit Auction will be taking place in our Family Life Center under the theme “Roll Out the Red Carpet.” There will be an online silent auction before the night of the event, along with on-site silent auction items and a live auction. This is a fun-filled event that you don’t want to miss! If you would like to make a donation, or know of a business that would be willing to donate an item or money, please let me know! In addition, our pre-K classes will be putting baskets together for the auction. Stay tuned and watch for an email with details!
