The Third grade scientists are now switching gears.  We are transitioning from Biologists/Zoologists to now engineers and physicists. 

Our new unit’s culminating project is a pinball machine.  Now is a good time to start collecting materials for it at HOME.  Suggested items: large shoebox, toilet paper and paper towel rolls, buttons, caps, small toys, pipe cleaners, etc.  We will first learn all the basic concepts and then, when the time comes, the students will construct their pinball machine here at school.  It is an exciting time!
