Week of December 6, 2021

Dear Parents,

It was a good week getting back from break and working together again.

The Christian Character Formation Project theme for this week is Respect.  We will be looking at the story of Israel’s Kings turning away from God.

Keep reading for the Pizza Hut Reading Rewards program Book It.  I sent out the December log this past week.  If you still have your completed log for November you can bring it in and I will give you a certificate.

Just a reminder that we will be having a gift exchange for our Christmas Party on Wednesday, December 22.  The girls should bring a gift for a girl and the boys should bring a gift for a boy.  The value of the gift should be $5.00-$7.00.  I would need the gifts brought to school no later than Friday, December 17.  Let me know if you have any questions.

The Lutheran Junior Honor Society here at St. Paul is working to help people in need.  Here is a message from them asking for your help in their project.  “Many of you will be reading a book with your families called The Family Under the Bridge.  Just like them, we know that there are people who don’t have homes of their own. Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge is an organization that wants to help people in need.  St. Paul will be taking in donations for this community organization until Wednesday, December 15th. Mr. Bob’s needs men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, winter gear, and hygiene projects, like soap and toothpaste. Donations will be accepted in the south wing entrance, the main school entrance. We hope to fill the barrels!”

Reminder that school will be dismissed at 11:20am on Wednesday, December 22.
