May 18 – May 22, 2026 “Down on the Farm”
It was all about transportation this week in 4K. We learned about different types of transportation, sorted different transportation by air, sea and land, and we made a fun airplane craft. We focused on the letter Kk and our Bible lessons were about Jesus walking on water and Jesus feeding 5,000.
Next week we will have fun with farm animals. We will learn about different animals that live on a farm and we will go on our field trip to Roden’s Farm. We will also make homemade ice cream! Our Bible lessons will be about the Good Samaritan and about Jesus healing a man with leprosy. We will also work on our final letter of the alphabet which is Ii.
Next Thursday all library books must be returned. This will be our final library day of the school year.
Next Friday is a half day of school. The AM class does not attend this day. The PM class will attend in the morning from 8:15-10:45.
Our PreK closing service will be held on May 29. The AM class will have their service at 8:30 and the PM class will have their service at 10:00. All parents are encouraged to attend as this is a special celebration in which the students will have some songs to sing for you and you will have the opportunity to come up front in church to take your child’s photo. At the end of the service, you will receive your child’s binder which will be filled with different things from the year, along with their final progress report. Please note we do not have a regular school day this day. The closing services will last about 45 minutes and your child will be excused after that. If you need to utilize extended care, please let me Mrs. Jess know.
