Weekly Update

May 11 – May 15, 2026 “Transportation”

This week in 4K we talked about how to be safe at home, school, on the playground, at the swimming pool, and when crossing the street. We read books about safety and the AM class had a visit with the Grafton Police Department. Our letter was Xx and we practiced writing it and saying its sound. Our Bible lessons were about Jairus’ daughter and Jesus teaching Simon. It was a great end to the week celebrating our special day with Mom!

Next week we will be talking about transportation. We will learn about different types of transportation and if the weather permits, we will get to drive different cars around outside. We will focus on the letter Kk and our Bible lessons will be about Jesus walking on water and Jesus feeding 5,000.

Don’t forget that the PreK students are singing this Sunday, May 10 at the 10:30 service. Your child may sit with you in a pew and will be called up to sing. Once they’re done singing, they will return to their seat with you. We can’t wait to share our special song with you on Sunday!

If you haven’t returned your child’s permission slip for our field trip to Roden’s Farm, please do so next week.

I have sent out a sign up link for our end of the year ice cream party which will be held on May 28th. Items can be brought in May 27th. Thank you!

Just a reminder that on May 22nd the AM class does not have school due to a half day. The PM class will attend in the morning from 8:15-10:45. If you need to make arrangements with extended care, please contact Mrs. Jess.
