This week we will continue our preparations for Christmas. We will make ornaments as special gifts to give as gifts. We will also practice the letter “O” for ornament in our letter journals and practice our Christmas songs for our service. Please try to go over the songs each night before you say your prayers and color a star on your Advent calendar that we made. Your help is greatly appreciated!
A reminder that we will have a special practice for our Christmas services on Friday December 17th. We do not have normal classes on Friday. The schedule for Friday is as follows:

Please add to your calendar Wednesday, January 12th. We will be having a Preschool/Kindergarten Information Night from 6:30-7:30. It is a great opportunity for you to learn more about St. Paul and our wonderful program! Childcare will be available. Watch for details coming home soon!
Each class will be having a Christmas party on Monday, December 20th and Tuesday, December 21st. We will play some Christmas games and have a special snack. Thank you to the room parents for sending out a sign up to bring something for our party and thank you to those who signed up to bring something. We will have our classroom party and exchange gifts through a little “pass the present” game. Please have your child bring a $5 wrapped gift for the exchange. Please write on the gift if it is for a boy, a girl or if it would be appropriate for either a boy or a girl. Also, include who the gift is from so that we can have our kids say “thank you” to the friend that it is from.
Some of you are reading a book with your families called The Family Under the Bridge. Just like them, we know that there are people who don’t have homes of their own. In conjunction with the book, we are partnering with Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge. It is a local organization that wants to help people in need. St. Paul will be taking in donations for this community organization until Monday, December 20th. Mr. Bob’s needs men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, winter gear, and hygiene projects, like soap and toothpaste. Donations will be accepted in the south wing entrance, the main school entrance. We hope to fill the barrels! Thank you for your generosity!
