Dear Parents,
I pray everyone is having a great time off from school. Enjoy the Thanksgiving break and time with your family. Here is the information for the week coming back after break.
The Christian Character Formation Project theme for this week is Courage. We will be looking at the story of Jehoshaphat Trusting God for Victory.
Keep reading for the Pizza Hut Reading Rewards program Book It. Be sure to fill out your reading accomplishments online. If you choose to record on the calendar tracker that was sent home, send it back to me when completed when we return from Thanksgiving break and I will submit the reading.
We will be having a gift exchange for our Christmas Party which will be on Wednesday, December 22. I ask that girls bring a gift for a girl and boys bring a gift for a boy. The value of the gift should be $5.00-$7.00. Please label the gift as a “boy gift” or “girl gift”. I would like the gifts brought to school no later than Friday, December 17. Let me know if you have any questions.
Our Christmas Service will be the Wednesday we get back after Thanksgiving both in the morning during Chapel and at the evening Advent service at 6:30pm. If you would like to come during Chapel in the morning you are welcome. We just ask that you sit in the balcony during the service.
The spelling words for this week are listed below. The test will be on Friday.
