Bio

Greetings parents and students!  I am your new 5th grade Language Arts and Art teacher.  My name is Nichol Kreger and I just finished my 11th year of teaching ministry at Trinity Freistadt, where I taught 4th grade for 10 years as well as Literature and Science to 5th-8th grade students.  I am eager to continue my teaching career at St. Paul because prior to teaching at Trinity, I was blessed to student teach at St. Paul under Mrs. Radue! Additionally, I am a graduate of St. Paul!  (I am not going to share the year..other than to say it was in the 80's!) So, in many ways, I feel like I am coming "home".

I can't wait to get to know you throughout this year and going forward.  I also can't wait to share my faith, my love of literature and my creativity with your kids!  I understand that the theme of the year is "Excel through Him", based on 2 Corinthians 8:7,  "But as you excel in everything-in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you-see that you excel in this act of grace also."  I will work diligently with my students so that we may all "excel through Him" in all areas.

As a parent, I always want to know more about the teachers.so here is a bit about me:

I have been married to my husband Rodney for almost 25 years and we have three daughters!  Our oldest, Hailey, is a senior at UW Whitewater and will graduate in May as a teacher.  My middle daughter, Abby, is a junior also at UW Whitewater and she is studying human resources.  Our youngest, Kelly, is a high school senior at Living Word where she plays volleyball and soccer.  Our family is rounded out with our 4 legged family members - Willy our 1 year old goldendoodle and Sweetie our 5 year old cat - who is anything but sweet.  Outside of family my interests include reading, gardening, home improvement projects and coffee drinking!
