Deanne brings a solid academic background and more than a decade
of classroom experience in elementary and special education to her
role as a First Grade teacher. She strives to have an inviting and
exciting classroom with a curriculum that instills an
age-appropriate level of responsibility in her students. Deanne is
works to encourage relationships between women from St. Paul
congregation and her first graders by inviting them in once a month
to listen to first graders read to them in groups of 2-3
people. Being able to bring the Word of God into the
curriculum at any point of the day is exciting and uplifting.
Deanne has a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education
with a LD (learning disabilities) minor from UW-Stevens
Point. Deanne has furthered her education by participating in
a Smart Board, reading, classroom management, Excel, and several
religion graduate courses.
Her interests include spending time with her family, gardening
and spending time outdoors, watching the Brewers, traveling,
singing and playing the piano, and learning to play the guitar.
I incorporate the presence of God into our day by reminding the
children that we are never alone and are always loved. We build our
classroom on respect for each other and love for God.
