Mr. Alan (A.J.) Wellna received his first Call out of college to
St. Paul in 2010. Lutheran education has been part of his
framework throughout his life as he graduated from St. Paul in
Sheboygan, Sheboygan Lutheran High School, and Concordia University
Wisconsin. At Concordia, Mr. Wellna received his teaching
degree in Broadfield Social Sciences and Secondary Education.
In May of 2012, Mr. Wellna received a Master of Arts in Teaching
from Cardinal Stritch Universtiy, completing his final research
paper on the effectiveness of visuals and graphic organizers in the
Mr. Wellna currently serves as the 7th & 8th girls
volleyball coach along with 6th grade homeroom teacher.
Mr. Wellna attended the iSummit Conference in Atlanta, GA in
July of 2012. The focus of the conference was how to use
technology effectively in the classroom - primarily focusing on
iPads and different iPad applications.
Some of his interests include family, friends, sports, music,
and spending time outside.
