We will have fun this week learning about and experimenting with many different things in science. We will be doing lots of fun experiments as we learn about being scientists. We will have fun testing what items stick to magnets. It will also be fun to predict and test if things sink or float and experiment with mixing to see what dissolves in water. We will also practice the letter “M” for magnet in our letter journals. Our Bible lesson will be the God Chooses Moses from Exodus 3 & 4. We will talk about how God chooses us too and how he will help us lead other people to Him.
St. Paul will be hosting a Preschool/Kindergarten Information Night on January 12th. We will be sharing the unique program that St. Paul has to offer and teachers will be available for you to talk to answer any questions that you may have regarding curriculum or classes. A note was sent home last week with postcards. Please share them with your neighbors and friends! Childcare will be available during the presentation, please call the school office to sign your child up.
Parent Teacher Conferences are coming up January 17 – 21. I am looking forward to meeting with you. Due to the number of kids that have been in and out of school, I would like to extend the conferences to the following week. I will be sending out a sign up for you to choose your conference time. If you do not feel comfortable coming in to meet, I will also make our conference available through a Google Meeting. I do prefer to meet face to face, but due to the present rise in Covid, I understand if you are more comfortable meeting through Google.
MWF AM class, please note that your child does not have class on Friday, January 21st due to an early release day. The MWF PM Class will meet 8:15-10:45.
