Our theme for the last week will be "PreK Wrap-Up." We will
focus on wrapping up everything from the year. We will review basic
concepts that we have learned especially numbers and letters.
We did cover letter "Z" last week for zipper.
Monday will be our field trip to the pond. We will LEAVE
at 8:30 a.m. and return at 10:45 a.m. Please dress to be outside
the whole time. We are going to a pond that is much closer to the
lake than our school. The temperature is usually colder there. If
the grass is wet, please wear boots or old shoes. If there are any
questions about the weather, I will send an email as soon as I know
what we are doing. In the past, we have moved to school
during inclement weather.
Wednesday is the Summer Birthday Sundae Party. The Star does not
need to bring a snack this day. We will enjoy making our own ice
cream sundaes. Thanks for all of the donations. You can bring them
in anytime from now until Wednesday.
We had our last day of library. If your child did not have their
book, please send it as soon as possible. I am collecting all of
the library bags to put all of our end of the year materials in.
Your child will get their bag back on Friday. Please send it to
school if you have it. We need a few still.
Don't forget the Kindergarten Readiness night this Wednesday. It
is for all of the parents of children entering our Kindergarten
next year. We have compiled a bag of activities you can do this
summer with your child and have a guest speaker, Mrs. Denise
Gieschen. Please RSVP to our office (377-4659.)
Friday is our LAST day of school and closing service.
Families are asked to bring their child to the classroom and then
families and friends should sit in church. We will start at
