By Eggold @ 12:57 PM :: 271 Views :: 0 Comments :: Article Rating :: Church Events, Music
 Come hear the Lutheran High Westland (MI) Choir concert on Saturday, March 21 at 7 pm
in St. Paul’s sanctuary. There is no admission, but a free will offering will be taken. They will also participate in worship Saturday at 5 pm and Sunday morning at 8 am. Several students have extended family at St. Paul. In addition, their director, Nicholas Kwapis, is a 2008 Concordia Wisconsin graduate. This will be a fantastic concert! Bring along anyone who enjoys outstanding music.
      The Lutheran Westland Concert Choir sings for local congregations during their Sunday worship services, presents two major concerts each year as well as tours every other year.  They also participate in other musical events such as a combined concert with other schools and in the Michigan state choral festival. The Chamber Singers are a select subgroup of the Concert Choir.  These 12-16 students rehearse before school and perform at community events and concerts.
