WELCOME

We praise God for His goodness and many blessings we've all been given.  The Thanksgiving holiday is upon us- a wonderful celebration with a uniquely American and Christian heritage!  It remains a great and godly institution in our country.  As Psalm 100:4 indicates that we enter God's presence "with thanksgiving":

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise,

Be thankful unto Him and bless His holy name.

St. Paul School is a blessing open for you.  We are glad you chose to attend St. Paul. May God help us grow together in love, Connecting Through Christ", and practicing our faith in school, home, and the community. I am here to serve you, and assist your children in their many learning adventures.  Have a great Thanksgiving!

NOTES

1.  Thanks to the parents who sent the dessert for our first pizza party.  The second pizza party will be scheduled soon and others we hope will bring in some goodies.

2.  Congratulations to the 5th graders for the great contribution in the PB&J Challenge.  You helped bring in 4,851 pounds (more then any of the 90 schools participating).  This class set a record of almost 25 pounds per student.

3.  Supposedly I'm taking you "green" by giving the parents the spelling words.  Students must still use that small spelling book,  and they should be bringing it home to do the assignments the night before the pre-test and the final test.  Please use it!  If we're going green please watch for the memory assignments to be placed here on the web site soon.  Please remember to save some responsiblity and expectations for each child. It is there task to study.

4 We are testing.  Be sure a good nights sleep happens and a good breakfast is given.   Last day is Tuesday to complete thereading tests that the state of Wisconsin expects of all its students.  Try to remain sick free the next few days.  I have noticed that many are done in twenty minutes when they have forty minutes to read and answer the questions.

5.  Mary Andrae from the Dairy Council of Wisconsin came to share with us the many healthy agricultural products we receive from the harvested fields.  They were told lots of facts, and wow, do they know their cheese.  Well maybe not all 600 kinds in Wisonsin.  She did a terrific job, and yes take a look at the large map of Wisconsin resources she left with us.

6.  Memory - This Tuesday we have Oh Come All Ye Faithful.  More Christmas songs coming, and probably some recitation which I haven't made aware of yet.
