EDUCATION, MUSIC, AND
SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
THE CHRISTIAN DAY SCHOOL - Since the organization of the congregation in 1851, St. Paul congregation has operated a Christian Day School for children in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. At the present time the enrollment is over 350. Non-member children are accepted on a tuition basis.
PUBLIC SCHOOL RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION (PSRI) - Those children of the congregation not in the Christian Day School, from kindergarten through eighth grade, are encouraged to attend religion classes every Wednesday from 4:15 pm-5:15 pm. These classes do not meet during the summer months.
SUNDAY SCHOOL - All children of the congregation and the community, ages three through sixth grade, are welcome to be involved in this educational arm of the congregation. Classes are in session from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Classes do not meet, however, during the months of June, July and August.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - Children from the congregation and the community, ages four through sixth grade, are welcome to attend this full week of summer learning. Times and dates are always announced well in advance.
ADULT EDUCATION - St. Paul offers a wide variety of educational opportunities for adults. Consult our weekly worship folder or newsletter for specific details.
THE WORSHIP TEAM meets/rehearses weekly and is under the direction of Valerie Bremer.
THE MALE CHOIR rehearses weekly and sings under the direction of Dave Schmidt.
THE MIXED CHOIR rehearses weekly and sings under the direction of Valerie Bremer.
THE BELL RINGERS rehearse weekly under the direction of Kris Schroeder.
THE PARISH CHILDREN’S CHOIR rehearses on Tuesday afternoon at 3:15 pm during the school year under the direction of Valerie Bremer. This choir is for students in grades 1-5.
ELDERS of the congregation look after the spiritual welfare of the pastors, congregational staff and members, individually and corporately. They also supervise everything pertaining to congregational worship.
THE USHERS staff offers additional service to our congregation in making people feel comfortable and welcome in our services. If interested in ushering, contact Ronald Anschuetz, 377-7367.
THE ALTAR GUILD serves quietly and behind the scenes in the important function of preparing and cleaning the chancel for worship, changing the candles and paraments, and cleaning the sacramental vessels. Contact Bernice Noster, 377-2233.
GUARDIAN ANGEL EXTENDED CARE PROGRAM is available to St. Paul School families. The Child Care Program is open twelve months per year from 6:00 am-6:00 pm. For fees and information contact Kim Wyatt, Extended Care Director, at 377-7523.
