WHY do we sing or play instruments
in church?
To respond to God’s love for us by nurturing and developing musical skills
for use in praise & worship to Him.
 
 
 
 
~For families of
Choirs members & SPLS students~
If your child is scheduled to sing,
please encourage your child
 and their classmates by making every attempt to be at that service.
They also learn the importance of
taking an active part in worship.
 
Remember to:
Meet promptly 20 minutes before the service starts. Meet in the undercroft unless other instructions are given. Teachers will be on hand to help them practice, line up, and pray before the service.
 
 
Kids will sit together at the beginning of the service.
 
After they sing, the children will then find and sit with their family for the rest of the service. (It may help to determine before church where your family will sit.)
 
 
If it is impossible to attend, please send a note/email to the homeroom teacher at least a week in advance so the rest of the class can be appropriately prepared to sing.
 
 
Thank you for your willingness to help your children be leaders in worship!

The Male Choir is for guys of all ages and rehearses on Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30 pm. Join this fun group of gentlemen led by Dave Schmidt.
