St. Paul members support numerous local and international missions. We wish to share with you the missions we are involved with. If you are interested in further supporting any of these endeavors please contact the church office. This is a newer page for our site, so please check back as we are continuing to add the content. Thanks for your patience.

Greetings from Mission of Mercy team two.  We are back now from Alabama and we are feeling very refreshed and blessed.  God put in our hearts to go and serve. We worked long hours in the heat and were blessed in return by the friendships we created with the people we met in Alabama. Our team was joined by a nice young man from Texas who was a great blessing to our team.

Upon arrival at each of our work sites we had to take a minute to assess the property and decide how to attack the trees that were down. Working together we where able to finish the work needed at the three homes we were sent to. There is so much more work to be done in Alabama.  The amount of devastation is vast and unfortunately the workers are few.

We have posted a few pictures and are looking forward sharing more with all of you about our trip. As much as this trip was to help people, it has effected each of us greatly. We started this trip out as just people who went to the same church and have bonded in a very special way.

Thank you everyone who supported us. Your financial and prayerful support was greatly appreciated.

Mission of Mercy trip Works with the Southern LCMS

Pastor Chris led our first team in May to the Gardendale Alabama. This group of seven men spent a week working to clean up after the tornadoes that occurred on April 27th, 2011. Upon their return they shared the story of their efforts and how God was able to use them to help the people who were affected by those storms.  Thank you to everyone who supported their efforts.

Our teenagers hard at work.
The team at a morning project brief. Close were very clean... that won't last long.
We'll have to clear that tree next...
Day 2 on the second site...
The debris once it was moved to the street.
Who said the trees wouldn't be that heavy?
Working on the tree debris pile...
One of our home owners taking care of us.
